Australian Bakels is a member of the privately-owned International Bakels Group and began business in Australia in 1952 on the Silverwater Site, New South Wales, which it still occupies today. Australian Bakels offers a wide range of bakery ingredients, including bread and cake mixes, wet fillings, ready-to-bake cookie dough, bakery fats and icings.

The manufacturing facility is located in Silverwater, with first class Australia-wide facilities for quality control, product development, test baking and customer demonstrations, and a highly-skilled and qualified team that offer high quality service from conception through to commercialisation and beyond.
